RTS allows you to assign images to play on your Customer Facing Monitor while it is not displaying a seating chart. To set this up, you will want to set up an Advertising Display Program. Then you will need to set up each computer so it knows what display and what program to run. You can have multiple programs set up in RTS, so if you wanted to, you could have your box office and concession stands displaying different images.

Configuring an Advertising Display Program

An advertising display program is how you configure what images display when on your second monitor. The program only needs to be set up, and have images loaded once on one machine. You will still need to set each station to use this program. The images used should be either a png or a jpg and should be the same size as your customer-facing monitor for the best results. For the Partner QM-150c, that is 1920x1080.

To configure the Advertising Display:

  1. Navigate to Setup -> Advertising Display from the menu.

    Rts setup advertisingDisplay.png

  2. Select Edit Programs to display the ad display program setup window.

    Rts setup advertisingDisplay editPrograms.png

  3. Select Import Images to appear in Available Frames. These images can be selected from your computer.
  4. From here, you can highlight an image and press Add on the desired Frame(s) (Main Screen Frames, Additional Selling Frames, and/or Closed Frames) you would like it to appear in.

    Rts setup advertisingDisplay editPrograms filled.png

  5. Click on Add New Program. You will be prompted to name your program.
  6. Click Save.

NOTE: If you make a change to a program already assigned to stations, you will need to restart RTS on those stations to see the change take effect. You can do this by going to File -> Other -> Restart Software.

Setting up The Advertising on Your Selling Stations

On each computer, you will need to tell RTS what monitor to run the advertising display on, and program to run. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to: Setup-> Advertising Display
  2. Select Monitor 2, NOT the Windows Monitor 2.
  3. Click on the Program Name and Select the program you just created.

    Rts setup advertisingDisplay.png

  4. Press Save.

NOTE: You will need to restart RTS to get the advertising display to start. You can do this by going to File -> Other -> Restart Software.
