App Configuration

This window contains the general configuration for Your RTS App, on the Web, Apple, and Android. This window can be found at Setup -> Mobile App -> App Configuration.

Main Settings

Ticketing

This tab contains settings for selling tickets in your RTS App.

  • Disable Single Seat Warning - Disable the warning when a customer's ticket purchase would create a single seat
  • Allow Sales After Showtime (Minutes) - How long after the start of a showtime to continue to allow ticket sales in the App
  • Online Ticket Quantity - Maximum number of tickets customers can purchase in one transaction in the app
  • Require Account for Purchase - Customers must be logged in to the app to purchase tickets. They cannot purchase tickets as a guest if this option is enabled
  • Prompt for Concessions After Ticket Purchase - if enabled, customers will be asked if they want to purchase concessions as well after purchasing tickets.


Food and Beverage

This tab contains general settings for selling concessions in your RTS App.

  • Enable Concessions Sales Without Tickets - Allow customer to purchase Concessions without the purchase of a Ticket
  • Require Account for Purchase - Customers must be logged in to the app to purchase concessions. They cannot purchase concessions as a guest
  • Enable Automatic Order Check In - Orders will be automatically checked in X minutes before the estimated pick up time of the order.

(This allow kitchens to get orders ready in advance to lower customer wait time.)

Location Restrictions

  • Block Purchase Outside of Location - Don't allow customers to purchase concessions unless they are within the Location Radius of the theatre
  • Location Radius (Miles) - When Block Purchases is enabled, this is the radius around the theatre to allow purchases in
  • Coordinate Override - When setting up your app, we typically set the theatre's coordinates at the theatre's entrance. If you would like to use a different location used as the center of the Location Radius, you can set that here

Pickup

This tab allows you to restrict where a customer can "Check-In" to pick up their order.

Location Restrictions

  • Block Pickup Outside of Location - Don't allow customers to check-in unless they are within the Location Radius of the theatre
  • Location Radius (Miles) - When Block Pickup is enabled, this is the radius around the theatre to allow check-ins in
  • Coordinate Override - When setting up your app, we typically set the theatre's coordinates at the theatre's entrance. If you would like to use a different location used as the center of the Location Radius, you can set that here
  • Force Order Check In When Ticket Pickup - Forces the concession purchase linked to a ticket purchase to be automatically checked in when tickets are picked up.

(Only applies to orders without followup questions on order check in.)

Other

This tab contains miscellaneous settings for your RTS App.

  • Mobile Payment Types - You can enable payments via Apple and Google pay. Square is required to enable them.

Square

In this tab, you can enable payment from Square.

You will need the following information, Provided by Square:

Application ID
Location ID 
Access Token

For Adjustment Item, Internet Fee is typically used and is assigned by default. The Adjustment Item is used to zero out the sales for your deposit report similar to the CC Redeemed Item.


Fees

This tab allows you to change the text, description, and price for Fees in the app.

Ticket Fee

Per Ticket Fee


  • Line Item Display Text - A summary of the fee
  • Line Item Description - This will appear after expanding the information window on the mobile app.
  • Fee amount - The price of the fee
  • Fee Item - The item used to balance out the register during online transactions. Commonly set to Internet Fee


Transaction Fee

Per Transaction Fee


  • Line Item Display Text - A summary of the fee
  • Line Item Description - This will appear after expanding the information window on the mobile app.
  • Fee amount - The price of the fee
  • Fee Item - The item used to balance out the register during online transactions. Commonly set to Internet Fee


Minimum Fee

This sets the minimum amount of fees customers must pay in the app. If the customer's fees are less than what you have set, a fee will be added to bring the total to the amount set here.


NOTE:

If Ticket Fee + Transaction Fee > Minimum Fee, THEN Minimum Fee is not charged
If Ticket Fee + Transaction Fee < Minimum Fee, THEN ONLY Minimum Fee is charged.

Sales Tax

This will allow you to edit the line item display and description for sales tax


Groups

Groups can be used to tie multiple fees into one. Click "Add Group" to add a fee group, then select the fee on the right and click "Add Fee" to put it into a group. Multiple groups will appear as multiple line items on the app.

Authentication

This tab contains information used by RTS to set up your app. You should never have to make a change in this tab.


Availability Editor

This tab allows you to define your available hours, and assign them to different methods of picking up concessions.

Order Pickup

Pickup Methods

Here you can create your methods of picking up concession orders, as well as assign their Availability

Configure Questionaire

You may want to ask a few questions depending on your method of pickup.

For example, if you have a Curbside pickup option, you want to have a question for the Make and Model of the customer's vehicle.

  • Customer Question - This is the Question Customers will be asked
  • Question Description - A description of the question. You may want to use this to provide for context for the question or an example
  • Kitchen Description - This is how the question will display on Pickup Viewers and remote printer pickup receipts. It will be formatted as "Kitchen Description: Customer Answer"
  • Pickup Method - This is the Pickup Method this question is assigned to. It will only be asked if the customers have selected the assigned Pickup Method
  • Response Required - Indicates whether this question is required to submit an order
  • Response Type - This allows you to have some validation on the format of the answer.
    • Integer - The Answer must be a non-decimal number.
    • Decimal - The Answer must be a number, and can contain a decimal
    • Text - The Answer can contain any letter, number, or punctuation
    • Phone Number - The Answer must match the format of a phone number
    • Email Address - The Answer must match the format of an email address
