To add a new export:

Go to Setup -> Communications -> Schedule Exports

1) In the top right corner, select the Computer Name you wish to have the export run on

2) Set the Export Name (e.g. LMS)

3) Set the Export Format (e.g. ShowInfoNew)

4) If the export is going to the local disk, choose Local. If it's going to an FTP server, choose FTP

5) Theatre Code will default to your RTN ID, but can be set manually if needed.

6a)If the export is a Local export:

  • Set the Refresh Interval (defaults to 10 minutes)
  • Set the Failed Refresh Interval (defaults to 20 minutes)
  • Set the Destination File Name (e.g. c:\lms\schedule.xml)


6b. If the export is an FTP export:

  • Set the Server IP (e.g. 10.123.32.12)
  • Set the Username (e.g. ftp_user)
  • Set the Password (e.g. ftp_user)
  • Set the Refresh Interval (defaults to 10 minutes)
  • Set the Failed Refresh Interval (defaults to 20 minutes)
  • Set the Destination File Name (e.g. /dataimport/schedule.xml)
  • If the connection requires Passive, check Use Passive
  • If the connection requires FTPS, check Use FTPS
  • Set the Port (defaults to 21)


7) Click "Test" to see if the export works, if not, correct the settings

8) Click "Add New" to add this export to the selected computer

9) Click "Close" to save the configuration

To Edit an existing Export:

In the top right corner, select the Computer Name that has the export.

1) Click the desired export to edit

2) Modify the export settings

3) Click "Save" to save the export

4) Click "Close" to save the configuration

To Remove an Export:

1) In the top right corner, select the Computer Name that has the export

2) Click the desired export to remove

3) Click "Remove" to remove the export

4) Click "Close" to save the configuration

To move an export to different computer:

1) In the top right corner, select the Computer Name that has the export

2) Click the desired export to move

3) Click "Move To"

4) On the pop-up window, select the computer you wish to put the export onto, click "OK"

5) Click "Close" to save the configuration

To edit an existing export:

In the top right corner, select the Computer Name that has the export
1) Click the desired export to edit
2) Modify the export settings
3) Click "Save" to save the export
4) Click "Close" to save the configuration
